About This Role
- Lead and deliver moderately complex software engineering initiatives and projects, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Resolve moderately complex technical challenges and lead a team to meet client needs, acting as an escalation point and providing guidance to junior staff.
- Own operational support including system monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, change request implementation, and continuous improvement of system reliability and supportability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in application production support (4+ years preferred).
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or higher required.
- Ability to work additional hours, on call assignments, and flexible 16/7 schedule including weekends and holidays.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud technologies, site reliability engineering concepts, and DevOps/CI/CD automation with strong scripting and automation skills.
- Capable of collaborating across Architecture, Infrastructure, and Development teams to influence reliability and supportability improvements.
- Familiar with ITSM processes, various monitoring/observability tools, server OS, and multiple programming languages relevant to platform/application support.
