About This Role
- Develop and deliver layer-2 and layer-3 routing protocols/features (e.g., OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BGP, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP) for Fujitsu Flashwave / 1FINITY products.
- Analyze requirements, design software, write functional and design specs, and participate throughout the full product development lifecycle.
- Lead technically within development teams ensuring requirement integrity and cross-functional coordination across multiple global teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in one or more L2/L3 protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, BFD, VRRP, LLDP, DHCP, RSTP.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills with expertise in data structures, YANG modeling, and Confd from tail-f.
- Degree requirement: BS/BE/BTech/ME/MTech in CS, EE, or ECE.
- Primary work location Bangalore; no relocation or visa sponsorship provided.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in network routing architectures and real-time embedded Linux OS environments working on complex networking/chassis systems with multiple line-cards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot L2/L3 protocol issues and experience with Broadcom SDKs, drivers, and chipsets for network hardware.
- Experienced in managing control and management plane functions for packet forwarding and effective collaboration with multiple global product teams.
