About This Role
- Develop and transfer existing MES software for Lens Manufacturing to a modern hybrid-cloud microservice environment.
- Implement systems functions, controls, algorithms, and unit testing to ensure software reliability.
- Manage deployment of software updates to edge environments and maintain related training materials/documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Advanced programming skills in Java and proficiency with Linux environments.
- Experience with modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio) and very good English communication.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with MES or enterprise software development in international teams.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures, Azure DevOps CI/CD, and technologies like MongoDB, Kafka, Docker.
- Ability to manage end-to-end deployment processes including creating documentation and troubleshooting live services.
