About This Role
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites covering UI, API, and integration layers for an AI-driven cloud operations SaaS platform.
- Embed quality practices early in the SDLC by collaborating with development teams, contributing to test strategy for microservices and distributed systems.
- Develop, execute, and integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines while improving frameworks and ensuring high release quality using logs, metrics, and traces.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in test automation / quality engineering in agile, fast-paced product environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Java/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright/Cypress for UI, Pytest/Robot Framework), API testing tools (Postman/Newman, REST Assured), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud-native architectures including microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably AWS cloud-based applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automation framework development and test strategy for microservices-based distributed systems in SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of API-first testing, contract/schema validation (OpenAPI, Pact), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch).
- Familiar with AI/ML-driven system testing, test data validation frameworks, and advanced testing concepts like shift-left and shift-right practices.
