About This Role
- Act as technical escalation point during security incidents to determine threat extent and business impacts, advising and performing containment and remediation actions.
- Lead triage of malware incidents, incident lifecycle management, and monitoring for emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement by tuning detection and response systems, and provide leadership and coordination during high-priority incidents including acting as shift lead.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years Information Technology experience, preferably in financial services with hands-on incident management and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, firewalls, anti-malware, encryption, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in network traffic analysis, threat detection, malware analysis, and correlating multi-source security data.
- Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call support; must be able to handle emergencies at any time.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in security incident management within a high-volume financial services or similar regulated environment.
- Capable of working independently to complete full incident lifecycle without higher-level supervision while mentoring junior analysts.
- Skilled in analyzing adversary tactics, emerging threats, and tuning security detection and response processes for continuous improvement.
