Hands-on expertise with hypervisor/VM environments (e.g., VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM) and/or AWS cloud infrastructure (Azure/GCP knowledge is a plus).
Proven track record migrating large-scale on-prem/legacy VM workloads to public/private cloud, applying various migration strategies.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) and CI/CD pipelines; exposure to AWS API-level development (boto3 or AWS SDK); strong networking fundamentals and infrastructure security knowledge.
Deep infrastructure engineering background comfortable working at hypervisor level and with AWS cloud APIs to design and build scalable, secure, automated cloud platforms.
Experience breaking down complex legacy environments into actionable migration plans and driving execution with multi-disciplinary teams across networking, security, and SRE domains.
Skilled in coding using Python, Go, or Java for infrastructure tooling and automation, able to handle operational challenges including on-call incident response and vulnerability management in fast-paced environments.
