About This Role
- Remediate critical network alerts and triage production-impacting network incidents within defined SLAs in a 24/7 global shift rotation setup.
- Engage with internal customers and external vendors to resolve hardware/software network issues and participate in project work like network device upgrades and capacity planning.
- Manage and operate large scale IP network technologies including Peering, Datacenter interconnects (PNI, Transit, Exchange), and support on-premises and cloud network health monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
- Over 4 years of experience in network operations with strong incident management and SLA adherence.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPsec, DNS, MACsec.
- Experience with cloud service provider environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex multi-vendor network infrastructures including Arista, Fortinet, and Juniper devices.
- Skilled in network troubleshooting, creative problem-solving, and contributing to automation tooling for provisioning and monitoring.
- Comfortable operating in large-scale CSP environments with knowledge of Mellanox/Cumulus OS and network monitoring tools like Netbox, Prometheus, and Grafana.
