About This Role
- Develop and support full-stack applications serving ExxonMobil’s Upstream business, ensuring robust frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead design and implementation of complex features, refactor legacy code, optimize performance, and troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Act as technical lead driving solution design, best practices adherence, and team coordination across global time zones.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 2 years each in frontend development using Angular or React and JavaScript/TypeScript, and 3 years backend development using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development and proficiency with Git & CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in full-stack development with strong skills in modern UI frameworks, API design, and cloud-native hosting (Azure).
- Experience leading technical design in complex distributed systems and collaborating effectively across global teams.
- Familiarity or willingness to upskill in Python, containerization tools (Docker, OpenShift), and data visualization technologies is advantageous.
