About This Role
- Own IESA's engagement with member companies and government on battery supply chain and manufacturing issues, including leading ministerial meetings and member discussions.
- Lead content and advocacy efforts such as writing leadership articles, conducting monthly working group meetings, and organizing physical roundtables to build IESA's credibility.
- Drive membership growth and retention in the battery supply chain sector and support cross-team efforts including reporting and flagship event leadership (e.g., Manufacturing Day).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years experience in battery manufacturing, supply chain, energy storage, or closely related industrial sector.
- Prior experience engaging with government/ministerial stakeholders or working within an industry body/association preferred.
- Experience managing senior-level member or client relationships; managing/mentoring people is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise and credibility in battery supply chain and manufacturing to confidently represent industry perspectives to government and members.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management operating at senior industry and government levels, with business development capabilities including lead generation and retention.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a multi-team environment and delivering thought leadership through structured meetings, reports, articles, and high-profile events.
