About This Role
- Provide Tier 1 Incident Management support for software production systems, networks, and servers by monitoring alerts 24x7 in a global data center environment.
- Install, configure, and administer Windows Operating Systems and execute software upgrades and configurations for proprietary business applications.
- Initiate and lead incident calls during major outages, investigate service outages and system issues, and analyze data models to recommend performance improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in NOC, Command Center, or Remote Data Center Operations with technology troubleshooting experience.
- 1-2 years of experience supporting MS Windows software and application IT infrastructure monitoring within a customer service environment.
- Experience working in a 24x7 support environment with rotational shifts.
- Familiarity with tools such as Active Batch (or other Job Scheduling tools), Nagios, Logic Monitor, Microsoft Windows patching/hotfixes, and Active Directory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced operating in a 24x7 NOC environment handling incident management and system monitoring for production financial services applications.
- Comfortable working with Windows server environments and executing upgrades and configuration changes reliably under pressure.
- Knowledgeable about FinTech processes and trading equities environment, with the ability to analyze data flows and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
