About This Role
- Maintain reliability and performance of major fintech infrastructure with a focus on always-up, always-available services.
- Operate and troubleshoot Linux/Unix systems, networking (IP, iptables, IPsec), and MySQL/MariaDB databases in a private cloud environment.
- Implement automation and configuration management using tools such as SaltStack and participate in on-call rotation duties.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration.
- Proficient in computer networking including Linux networking tools (IP, iptables, IPsec).
- Experience with MySQL databases; knowledge of MariaDB or Percona is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting/coding in Perl, Python, or Golang and automation/configuration management tools like SaltStack.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong operational expertise in large-scale Linux/Unix environments in fintech or similarly demanding domains.
- Experience working with private cloud environments and implementing cloud services with virtualization (KVM/QEMU).
- Skills in container orchestration, NoSQL databases (Aerospike), and data center operations enhance fit but are not mandatory.
