About This Role
- Ensure high reliability and performance of fintech infrastructure with a focus on Linux/Unix systems administration and networking.
- Implement and maintain always-up, always-available services using open source technologies and cloud services, including private cloud and automation tools like SaltStack.
- Participate in on-call rotation and handle operational tasks related to databases (MySQL, MariaDB, Percona) and networking (IP, iptables, IPsec).
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in Linux/Unix administration and networking.
- Strong proficiency in Linux networking technologies including IP, iptables, and IPsec.
- Working knowledge of MySQL databases; experience with MariaDB or Percona is a plus.
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as SaltStack and private cloud environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates operational ownership with hands-on experience in maintaining high availability fintech infrastructure on-premises.
- Skilled in scripting/coding particularly in Perl, Python, or Golang to automate operational tasks and improve reliability.
- Experience or familiarity with container orchestration, cloud virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU), NoSQL databases like Aerospike, and data center operations is advantageous.
