About This Role
- Maintain and ensure the reliability and always-availability of large fintech infrastructure services.
- Administer Linux/Unix systems and handle networking tasks involving IP, iptables, and IPsec.
- Participate in on-call rotations and leverage automation/configuration management tools like SaltStack to support private cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration.
- Proficient in computer networking including IP, iptables, IPsec.
- Working knowledge of MySQL databases; experience with MariaDB or Percona is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., SaltStack) and private cloud environments; scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Golang.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong Linux networking expertise and experience with implementing cloud services on Linux using KVM/QEMU.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies and knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Aerospike.
- Background in database cluster operations (e.g., Galera cluster) and data center activities.
