About This Role
- Provide deep technical leadership and own architecture design and evolution across multiple North America Mobility services.
- Lead cross-team architecture reviews, establish reusable frameworks, and set technical standards for APIs, service communication, and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive security-by-design and compliance practices, operational readiness, resilience improvements, and mentor senior engineers to improve engineering quality and delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 7-12 years professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams or systems.
- Expertise in backend development using Java or C# (e.g., Spring Boot); strong experience with RESTful APIs, ODATA, gRPC, Kafka, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with secure API design, compliance-by-design, PCI DSS or regulated payment environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and evolving internet-scale, secure, scalable, and reliable distributed systems for fleet management, mobility payments, or similar financial technology domains.
- Skilled in cross-team collaboration to define architecture, integration contracts, and engineering standards adopted broadly.
- Possesses hands-on expertise with modern cloud-native technologies, event-driven architectures, observability practices, and deploying responsible AI solutions in production.
