About This Role
- Own and manage fixed asset accounting processes including acquisition, capitalization, disposal, impairment, revaluation, and depreciation of fixed assets ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly depreciation projections, perform rollforwards and reconciliations of fixed assets sub-ledger to general ledger, and support internal and external audit requests including CIP reconciliations.
- Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements within fixed assets, review journal entries, maintain SOX-compliant internal controls, and mentor junior staff with workflow and development.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-year degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 4 or more years of accounting-related experience; Public accounting experience preferred.
- In-depth working knowledge of GAAP, ASC 360, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient with ERP systems; working knowledge of D365 and OneStream is a plus.
