About This Role
- Develop and execute detailed test plans for embedded systems, covering firmware and hardware components.
- Set up and maintain hardware-in-loop (HIL) test environments and perform functional, regression, performance, and stress testing.
- Lead defect analysis, root cause investigations, compliance validations, and mentor junior QA engineers on test strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded product testing.
- Experience with requirements-based testing methodologies such as V-Model or Agile.
- Familiarity with software testing tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and scripting in Python or C.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing embedded firmware and hardware testing life cycles with demonstrated defect resolution skills.
- Able to independently set up complex test environments including HIL systems and integrate testing with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical background in both embedded software and hardware coupled with proven leadership in test strategy and process improvement.
