About This Role
- Lead cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to deliver backend and API-driven projects, overseeing project planning, sprint execution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment from inception to release.
- Provide technical oversight on backend solution architecture, API designs, and integration, collaborating with engineering leads to ensure scalable, cloud-native backend solutions on AWS.
- Manage stakeholder communication across product, architecture, and external vendors; drive Agile delivery, engineering KPIs, DevOps culture, continuous improvement, and mentor teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years total experience with at least 8+ years in backend engineering focused on APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Strong technical expertise in Java-based backend systems and cloud-native architecture with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation.
- Proven experience managing medium to large cross-functional engineering programs using Agile/Scrum with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work Experience Required: 15+ years total with 8+ years backend engineering experience.
