About This Role
- Lead and manage end-to-end DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation efforts for critical GCP services ensuring operational stability and cost savings.
- Handle high volume of ServiceNow tickets with expert triage for priority and timely resolution, and participate in on-call rotations and incident RCA.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, web applications, and cloud-automation microservices; build SRE platforms with Dynatrace or GCP Ops Monitoring Suite to improve observability and alerts.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in IT and IT Operations industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (B.E / B.Tech).
- Mandatory proficiency in Python or Java programming with at least 5 years experience; 3+ years hands-on in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- At least 2 years experience designing CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Tekton) and 2+ years in building SRE platforms using Dynatrace or GCP Ops Monitoring Suite.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong Cloud Operations background with focus on GCP and cloud security, including vulnerability remediation and threat protection.
- Experience working with automation and SRE principles, treating operational issues as software problems and driving automation to reduce manual toil.
- Skilled in programming (Python/Java), IaC, and developing cloud-automation tools; comfortable in complex, product-driven, and scalable cloud environments involving GCP infrastructure and APIs.
