About This Role
- Deploy AI solutions to improve counselling, admissions, documentation, and follow-up workflows with a focus on measurable business metrics like enquiry-to-enrolment conversion and application turnaround time.
- Lead and manage a small engineering team (3 members), establish standards for code quality, review and testing, and own system reliability and tooling.
- Own integration and maintenance of key operational systems (NetMind, Acomodo surfaces) used for live outreach and partner conversations; build internal tools to improve team efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of software development experience with products used by real users.
- Experience mentoring or leading at least one other developer.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursur, Lovable or equivalent) and ability to debug AI-generated code.
- Comfortable with frontend, APIs, databases (Postgres/Supabase), deployment, and integration with third-party systems like CRMs, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp-based processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience embedded within business or operations teams, especially in education, study-abroad, or document-heavy operational environments.
- Able to analyze and understand existing workflows before proposing technical changes, communicating complex technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working on-site in Mumbai with frequent interaction at operational branches and reporting directly to the company founder.
