About This Role
- Provide technical support and execute upgradation projects for aftermarket automation and controls retrofits, including onsite work at customer locations.
- Support software and IIOT development related to automation controls, troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and servo-based systems post installation, and generate aftermarket revenue through upgrades, AMC and IIOT solutions.
- Train customers and internal service engineers; prepare service and online support reports; contribute to failure analysis, corrective actions, and software standardization across product lines.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.E. degree in Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in automation and controls service or related field.
- Technical skills: Proficient with Mitsubishi, Siemens or equivalent PLC, HMI, and Zenon or equivalent SCADA systems.
- Location: Pune / Mumbai, India (onsite expectation implied).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automation and controls service with hands-on knowledge of software development for engineering machinery and IIOT implementation in retrofit scenarios.
- Capable of independently handling troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective actions on PLC/SCADA systems post-installation.
- Able to identify sales opportunities for aftermarket services and collaborate across functions for customer support and product standardization.
