About This Role
- Maximize software quality and test coverage by designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI, API, integration, smoke, and regression tests.
- Develop and enhance scalable test automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to enable shift-left testing practices, minimize defects, and automate quality metrics reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing, test automation, or software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, SpecFlow, Cucumber) and REST API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Playwright).
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and experience with Git and CI/CD technologies (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments with strong focus on shift-left testing and continuous testing methodologies.
- Skilled at building mocks, emulators, and test libraries to achieve high acceptance test coverage and improve testability.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and AI-assisted engineering tools preferred, with domain experience in Convenience Retail, Fuel, Payments, Wholesale, Loyalty, or Logistics an advantage.
