About This Role
- Collect, verify, and update global port, terminal, berth, vessel call, and commodity movement data in the business intelligence system.
- Compile and analyze port cost, performance data, shipping news, and market trends to prepare reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as key point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely completion of data-related projects and responding to information requests.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven work experience in data entry and strong skills in data collection and management.
- Any degree or equivalent business qualification; extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools required.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Desirable: Experience in shipping industry backend processes and knowledge of shipping terms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and interpreting large datasets with attention to accuracy and consistency across multiple sources.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative global team supporting diverse maritime clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA Macros, to handle complex data tasks.
