About This Role
- Manage and lead embedded software development teams (~10-15 members) focused on AOS-CX Switch OS products.
- Define, plan, and drive execution of the software roadmap across multiple technical domains including OS infrastructure, networking protocols, and cloud management enablement.
- Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and people management to meet organizational objectives and budgets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/BTECH/MTECH).
- Minimum 10 years of total experience with at least 3 years in people management roles.
- Strong development background in Networking and Embedded Systems using C/C++ and Python scripting.
- Hybrid work model requiring average 2 days per week onsite at HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced manager with demonstrated ability in leading mid-sized embedded software teams in networking or embedded Linux environments.
- Proficient in project and program management including risk assessment and resource planning involving cross-functional collaboration (hardware, ASIC, supply chain).
- Technical hands-on expertise in embedded Linux/RTOS development, networking fundamentals, and familiarity with agile methodologies such as SAFe and Scrum frameworks.
