About This Role
- Define and enforce enterprise UI architecture standards for large scale, high traffic eCommerce platforms.
- Own architecture design and delivery for composable, headless frontend commerce solutions, including mentoring engineering teams across multiple programs.
- Conduct client-facing architecture reviews, audits, and lead discussions with senior stakeholders to drive technical direction and remediation plans.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of experience with strong frontend architecture expertise in high-traffic eCommerce storefronts.
- Expert-level proficiency in React, strong skills in Next.js and TypeScript, plus deep experience in at least one additional UI framework.
- Proven track record of at least two implementations taken from architecture through production launch.
- Domain experience in retail or eCommerce including storefronts, search, merchandising, personalisation, or loyalty.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in hands-on frontend architecture shaping composable and headless commerce platforms with API-driven frontends (REST and GraphQL).
- Able to objectively select frontend frameworks and technologies based on business and platform context, not just React.
- Skilled in balancing technical delivery with client-facing advisory roles, including writing architecture audit and remediation documentation independently.
