Strong employer brand but niche HPC/cloud skills and senior level limit applicant density.
Specialized HPC and research-cloud skills make cross-industry transferability limited.
Explicit 8-12 years and mandatory cloud/HPC stack make filters strict.
Design, integrate, and manage high performance computing (HPC) systems including hardware and software components within organizational network infrastructure.
Implement and manage cloud-based HPC infrastructure supporting AI/ML workflows and data science with focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization.
Provide technical leadership, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud environments, and monitor cluster operations and cloud systems.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 8-12 years of hands-on HPC administration experience.
Demonstrable experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS), containerization (Docker, Singularity), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Git).
Expertise in scripting (Python or Bash), Linux/Unix system administration (Red Hat or Ubuntu), job scheduling/resource management tools (SLURM, PBS, LSF), and storage architectures (Lustre, GPFS, Ceph).
Mandatory professional certifications include Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
Experienced in managing complex HPC environments integrated with multi-cloud infrastructures, with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD.
Practical knowledge collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy scalable machine learning models in production.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-effective HPC cloud resources in fast-paced, evolving technology settings.
