Penetration Testing - Director - Cybersecurity Engineering

Lead and perform penetration testing and security assessments on critical assets to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with senior leadership, risk officers, and SMEs across business areas to implement secure technical environments and cybersecurity controls.

Develop and analyze cybersecurity metrics, document testing processes, and share expert knowledge within the team to improve overall security posture.

7+ years total work experience, with at least 5 years in IT Security.

Significant experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing.

Strong understanding of network security architecture, defense-in-depth principles, and vulnerability scoring systems like CVSS/CMSS.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and engaging with senior management.

Experienced cybersecurity professional capable of bridging deep technical expertise and senior management engagement, strategy, and risk management.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams including risk and business groups within a large financial services environment.

Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to clearly communicate technical risks and mitigation strategies to various stakeholders.
