About This Role
- Develop and enhance Angular UI components for dataset discovery, schema preview, and interactive data browsing to improve user experience.
- Build and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs for data access, metadata retrieval, and export workflows including implementing pagination, filtering, and access control.
- Perform data validation, monitoring, and quality checks integrating schema and drift detection to ensure datasets are analytics-ready and governed.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years experience in data engineering or full-stack engineering roles with practical Angular expertise.
- Proficient with AWS services Glue, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or similar databases; experience with Spark, Glue, Python, and dbt pipelines.
- Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, semantic layers), data quality practices, and familiarity with Iceberg table format.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer comfortable working at the intersection of data engineering, UI development, and API design in complex analytics environments.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data producers, analytics teams, and engineers to improve data consumer experience and dataset accessibility.
- Proven track record applying modern cloud technologies (AWS) and data governance frameworks to enhance data discoverability and quality in fast-paced settings.
