About This Role
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ELT data pipelines and data models mainly using Snowflake and dbt.
- Implement and maintain reusable dbt components such as models, macros, tests, snapshots, and incremental models to ensure reliable data transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, governed data products and support CI/CD and automated deployment for dbt projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with significant hands-on expertise in Snowflake and dbt.
- Strong advanced SQL skills with query optimization experience.
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions (SCD).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD development practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and optimizing ELT pipelines with modern data warehouse best practices in cloud environments.
- Comfortable with automation, debugging, and implementing data quality, testing, monitoring, and documentation frameworks.
- Skilled at collaborating across data engineering and business teams to deliver performant, governed data solutions using Snowflake and dbt ecosystems.
