About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend RESTful APIs using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Optimize database interactions and schema design for PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in NestJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) including schema design and query optimization.
- Proficiency with ORMs such as TypeORM, Prisma, or Sequelize and RESTful API design.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in microservices architecture and asynchronous event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS is preferred).
- Skilled in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms like JWT, OAuth, RBAC and security best practices.
- Able to manage CI/CD pipelines and work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
