About This Role

Monitor and respond rapidly to alerts, incidents, and outages in production trading systems to ensure minimal downtime.

Triage and escalate issues across trading support services, databases, and infrastructure; lead root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.

Enhance system reliability by improving monitoring, logging, alerting, automating recurring tasks, and maintaining operational documentation and SLO/SLA metrics.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly analytical field.

2-5 years of experience with Python and Shell/Bash scripting.

Hands-on experience with Linux environments and shell/bash online tools.

Experience working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in technical support or site reliability engineering/SRE roles with exposure to production engineering in trading or similar environments.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical ability to handle high-pressure production issues calmly and effectively.

Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), distributed messaging (Kafka), caching systems (Redis), and CI/CD automation enhances fit.
