About This Role
- Own substantial security components of Esko's AI Platform including design and implementation of identity, authorization, and policy enforcement controls.
- Build protections against AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, unauthorized access, and data leakage with mechanisms like approval gates and execution limits.
- Develop audit, monitoring capabilities, conduct threat modelling and adversarial testing to ensure traceability and detection of high-risk activities.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience securing cloud, distributed, or platform services including authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant isolation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Practical experience with threat modelling, application security testing, and deploying effective engineering controls.
- Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, AI, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing secure, reusable platform controls and APIs for multi-team use, balancing security with usability and operational complexity.
- Familiar with security challenges specific to AI systems including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent-based workflows.
- Able to communicate complex security concepts and tradeoffs clearly across engineering, security, compliance, and product teams.
