About This Role
- Support and maintain Edge Security platforms including Akamai KONA Site Defender, WAF configurations, and Bot Manager Premier for Disney's worldwide digital experiences.
- Drive automated security solutions within a DevSecOps culture and ensure security compliance during product launches and critical periods.
- Collaborate with development and global information security teams to uphold Disney Security standards, operational excellence, and application stability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience in a security-focused SRE or similar role.
- Proficient with Akamai Bot Manager Premier, WAF, KONA Site Defender, Splunk, App-Dynamics, and agile development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), code management tools (GitHub), and configuration/deployment tools (Ansible, Chef).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in supporting high-demand, security-critical releases and maintaining global scale platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to implement security best practices in application and infrastructure within DevSecOps environments.
- Comfortable operating in a multi-location, collaborative environment interfacing with information security, development, and audit teams.
