About This Role
- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications for Counterparty Credit Risk Management software, ensuring lean, scalable, and robust solutions.
- Take ownership of applications in assigned Risk Technology sub-domain, including hands-on coding, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business users and global teams, participate in design/code reviews, and provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing, including adoption of AI-driven development tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of extensive Java/J2EE development experience.
- Mandatory skills: Object-Oriented Design, Core Java (Threading, Collections, Synchronization, Annotations, Generics), J2EE, Spring Core/Batch, SQL/PLSQL, design patterns, build tools like Ant/Maven, Eclipse IDE, ETL/ELT concepts.
- Proficiency in Microservices on cloud and experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or caching technologies (e.g., GemFire, Redis) is required.
- Education: B.Tech degree preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication from a top engineering university.

- Experienced in designing and building applications in top-tier investment banks, banks, or product companies with disciplined software development processes.
- Demonstrates strong technical and architectural leadership, including proactive use and promotion of AI/Co-pilot tools for code optimization and automated testing.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, medium-sized teams with remote coordination and process adherence in SDLC environment.
