About This Role
- Own design, build, and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform modules for AWS and Databricks infrastructure.
- Automate and govern deployment, release management, monitoring, and security controls for a global Enterprise Data Platform using Databricks Asset Bundles and AWS services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational runbooks, release safety, and platform modernization including AWS migration efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or data platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, AWS (S3, IAM, KMS, STS, VPC, PrivateLink), and Databricks platform engineering.
- Experience automating Databricks deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles and managing access controls via Unity Catalog or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to deliver secure, automated, and scalable DevOps practices for enterprise-scale data platforms with cross-team collaboration.
- Experienced in multi-environment release governance, incident management, and infrastructure-as-code standards in AWS and Databricks.
- Comfortable operating in complex, global, Agile environments with strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and data platform layers.
