About This Role
- Design and develop control algorithms for Power Electronics components including Onboard Charger (OBC) and DC-DC converters using Model Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow).
- Analyze requirements and implement software functions ensuring compliance with automotive modelling (MXAM) and coding standards (MISRA C/C++).
- Debug and validate automotive ECU projects involving communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, or Ethernet using diagnostic and network tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe, Wireshark).
Minimum Requirements
- 5-12 years of experience in software development with focus on Model Based Development of control algorithms.
- Degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Power Electronics and Drives (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech).
- Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, Ethernet) and diagnostic protocols (UDS ISO 14229).
- Experience with modelling guidelines (MXAM), coding standards (MISRA C/C++), and debugging tools (Lauterbach TRACE32, iSYSTEM).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing and debugging embedded automotive ECUs for power electronics control systems within SAE or automotive industry environments.
- Proven ability to work in agile SAFe environment and collaborate using tools like PTC-Integrity/Codebeamer/Doors, Jira.
- Technical expertise in model based development and compliance with automotive coding and diagnostic standards for scalable software platforms.
