About This Role
- Own design, build, and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform modules for AWS and Databricks infrastructure within the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Drive automation and standardization of Databricks deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles across multiple environments including Dev, QA, Prod, and DR.
- Improve operational practices by enhancing monitoring, security automation, release management, and support runbooks to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data platform operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or data platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure components including S3, IAM, KMS, STS, VPC, PrivateLink, and related networking.
- Experience with Databricks platform engineering or deployment automation including workflows, jobs, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working in complex, globally distributed Agile engineering environments supporting cloud-native data platforms.
- Skilled in end-to-end automation and operational excellence spanning infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident management.
- Comfortable collaborating closely with engineering, architecture, security, cloud infrastructure, and support teams to drive platform modernization and adoption of best practices.
