About This Role
- Own end-to-end correctness and GAAP compliance of ERP workflows in the Startpoint platform, ensuring real-world fidelity from data entry to financial output.
- Act as domain authority and customer proxy to validate complex ERP scenarios and identify quality gaps beyond feature-level testing, collaborating with Product and Engineering.
- Drive systemic quality improvements by analyzing defect trends and usage data, and elevate quality understanding across the engineering team.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience with ERP systems in roles such as practitioner, implementer, consultant, or quality engineer with deep domain knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven expertise in at least two ERP domains: Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Time & Expense, Purchasing, or Inventory.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and familiarity with API testing tools; prior experience with AEC/GovCon ERP systems (Ajera, Costpoint, Vantagepoint) highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep domain expertise in accounting or ERP systems capable of reasoning end-to-end through complex business workflows and GAAP compliance.
- Experienced in uncovering quality risks from a user/customer perspective rather than relying on scripted tests, with a high ownership mentality to serve as sole ERP correctness authority.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with globally distributed teams, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and QE leads to set quality standards and drive improvements.
