About This Role
- Own the short and long term technical vision and make major technical decisions for your engineering squad.
- Provide technical mentorship and improve technical quality through design and code reviews across teams.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, partners, and leadership to influence engineering culture and project outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in senior engineering roles with experience designing APIs, abstractions, and tools for engineers.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft .NET stack (C#/Java/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs), SQL databases, HTML5, JavaScript; Typescript and React experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Daily hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and working knowledge of LLMs for effective usage and output evaluation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record leading technical projects end-to-end including ambiguous and cross-team initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers, influencing engineering culture, and setting high engineering quality standards within teams.
