About This Role
- Develop and maintain high-quality Python backend code for trade structuring tools used globally by trading and support teams.
- Lead adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Collaborate with users and other development teams throughout full software lifecycle including production support and enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Strong expertise in Python, object-oriented programming, and test-driven development.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
- Experience with distributed computing architectures and event-based architectures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading AI-assisted software development practices with a focus on secure, compliant, and high-quality outputs.
- Comfortable working in agile, global teams involving cross-functional collaboration and user interaction.
- Familiar with AWS and capable of hands-on technical delivery involving analysis, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
