About This Role
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components within JPMorganChase’s Co-brand Cards technology products to ensure security, stability, and scalability.
- Write secure, high-quality code primarily in one programming language with limited guidance while using enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools for improved code quality and productivity.
- Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain and agile methodologies to deliver and maintain operationally stable software solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one primary programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, Go) and database querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
- Experience working in a large corporate environment and familiarity with the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability in software products.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including security and data sensitivity.
- Exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD, and knowledge or interest in cloud technologies and modern front-end technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
