About This Role
- Lead engineering, deployment, and support of TNS Global IP backbone network and Ethernet-based services.
- Design and support WAN/LAN topologies, MPLS networks, Data Centers, and Load Balancer configurations.
- Provide expert consulting on complex network problems and influence at customer management level during projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years design and operations experience in large-scale multiprotocol global IP/ISP networks.
- 5+ years expertise in TCP/IP and advanced routing protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, RSVP, LDP.
- 3+ years experience with MPLS architecture and provisioning including Traffic Engineering and VPNs.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; Cisco and Juniper certifications required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineer experienced with large, multiprotocol ISP or global IP network environments working on complex projects.
- Proficient with Cisco and Juniper equipment command-line and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SPLUNK).
- Strategic problem solver capable of consulting across projects and guiding other team members on technical issues.
