About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric technologies and legacy SSIS workflows.
- Implement Medallion Architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) with Delta Lake, Warehouse, and OneLake.
- Develop and optimize data models including star schemas, SCD Type 1/2 handling, partitioning, Z-ordering, and manage data governance/security such as Row-Level Security and lineage with Microsoft Purview.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of core Data Engineering, BI, or Data Warehouse development experience.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, Notebooks) and advanced SQL (T-SQL).
- Hands-on experience (3–5 years) with SSIS/SSMS/SSDT and CI/CD deployment using Azure DevOps/Git.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing scalable data pipeline solutions on Microsoft Fabric with legacy SSIS integration.
- Deep understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling and data warehouse optimization techniques.
- Comfortable working in US EST shift remote setup and engaging with complex data governance and security frameworks.
