About This Role
- Design and develop software to enrich and clean hundreds of millions of global places/points of interest data.
- Drive performance improvements, support production systems, and guide best practices within software development lifecycle.
- Mentor team members and collaborate with multiple engineering teams on scalable cloud-based solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or Scala programming with backend architectures and messaging technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and large-scale data processing using Apache Spark or PySpark.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and optimizing scalable, REST-based microservices with strong DBMS/SQL skills, preferably PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Able to translate business and architectural requirements into high-quality, reusable, testable software designs with performance optimization focus.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, innovative teams delivering cloud-native data publication solutions for real-time global location data products.
