About This Role
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable application infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines for distributed systems on AWS and OpenShift platforms.
- Deploy code through automated continuous integration and continuous deployment processes using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Ensure database performance, security, backup/recovery, patch management, scaling, monitoring, and automation using AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, Elastic Cache) and related tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 5+ years experience with Source Code Management tools like GitLab or GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- 3+ years experience with API integrations, cloud service deployment, authentication, monitoring, and logging.
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and engineering containerization solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift with 4+ years relevant experience.
- Proficient with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and automation scripting (Python preferred).
- Skilled in using AWS monitoring and database services (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk; RDS, DynamoDB, Elastic Cache) with strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
