About This Role
- Design and develop comprehensive test strategies and automated test suites for cloud-native observability solutions focusing on functionality, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines to enhance test coverage and release quality.
- Validate distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments ensuring operational readiness and drive continuous quality engineering improvements including Escaped Defect Analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in System Testing, QA Automation, and Quality Engineering for cloud-native or distributed software products.
- Engineering degree (specific branch not mentioned).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integrated test automation, and validating microservices-based applications and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containers, Helm, and observability technologies such as OpenTelemetry, PromQL, VictoriaMetrics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in validating large-scale data ingestion, streaming, telemetry pipelines, and observability platforms involving Kafka and data-intensive systems.
- Proficient in integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and familiar with performance, reliability testing and defect analysis methods.
- Capable of collaborating cross-functionally in Agile/Scrum environments to drive root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement.
