About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement unit tests (JUnit), API documentation (Swagger), testing (Postman), and containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable solutions, optimize performance, ensure security, and work within Agile methodologies; leverage EDA patterns and integrate AWS Lambda or Kafka.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of overall software development experience.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot for API and microservices development.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit), Swagger, Postman, Docker, Kubernetes, BDD test cases, and exposure to EDA with AWS Lambda or Kafka.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in backend API and microservices architecture with strong operational ownership of testing, deployment, and performance optimizations.
- Comfortable working in cloud-native, containerized environments with familiarity in event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
- Able to contribute effectively in Agile teams and iterative delivery cycles with a focus on scalable, secure, and well-documented solutions.
