About This Role
- Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks for cloud-native observability platforms focusing on quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Own end-to-end quality validation activities including test strategy, automation, execution, reporting, and ensuring release readiness.
- Drive automation-first testing practices across CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery speed, release confidence, and reduce manual testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering with an engineering degree.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or similar languages for test automation framework development.
- Hands-on experience testing cloud-native applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift and microservices architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD-driven test automation using tools like Jenkins, Git, Helm, and containerized deployment pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing complex distributed, data-intensive, and event-driven systems involving Kafka, databases, and ETL workflows.
- Skilled in defect management and Root Cause Analysis in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-team collaboration.
- Has knowledge of observability concepts and exposure to AI-assisted testing or intelligent automation tools.
