About This Role
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the ServiceNow Discovery module to ensure accurate asset discovery and CMDB integration.
- Manage agentless and agent-based discovery setups and ServiceNow MID Server installations.
- Troubleshoot discovery-related issues in collaboration with technical teams to maintain Discovery platform reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-12 years of experience specifically with ServiceNow Discovery administration and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB management, CI reconciliation, and dependency mapping.
- Experience with MID Server configuration and management, and discovery methodologies (agentless and agent-based).
- Proficient in Windows, Linux/Unix servers, networking concepts (DNS, SNMP, WMI, SSH, TCP/IP), and troubleshooting Discovery patterns and scanning issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing large-scale ServiceNow Discovery environments with complex infrastructure.
- Skilled at integrating Discovery with CMDB and resolving cross-team technical issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on maintaining ITSM processes within ServiceNow platform administration.
