About This Role
- Design, develop, and automate test scenarios for customer-facing and internal software products and data flow processes.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, document bugs, and collaborate with quality engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain and update test plans and scenarios, focusing on SQL Data Warehouse testing and software development lifecycle adherence.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar Quality Engineering role (5+ years and leadership experience for Lead QE).
- Proficiency in QA methodologies and test management tools such as ALM, Azure DevOps, ADF, Jira/GitHub.
- Experience developing automated tests using frameworks like Selenium and programming/scripting skills in C#, Java, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of databases, proficient in SQL including DWH testing, plus understanding of DevOps concepts and pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in collaborative onshore/offshore team structures with resource planning and test approach review capabilities (for Lead QE).
- Skilled in translating product requirements into effective test scenarios within Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and attention to detail for problem identification and resolution in complex software environments.
