Senior Director, Engineering - AI Studio (CX & EX)

Lead and own the end-to-end AI Studio platform delivering front-end and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers that enable builder experiences for AI agents within CX and EX product lines.

Drive technical strategy, product roadmap, and execution to build tools for agent creation, testing, deployment, observability, and continuous optimization with a focus on reliability, scalability, and usability.

Collaborate cross-functionally with AI platform, AI/ML, Product, and Design teams to align AI Studio capabilities with business goals and customer impact metrics such as build velocity, adoption, and ROI.

15+ years in software engineering with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (Director or above) managing product-facing platform or developer tooling teams.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including front-end architectures and BFF/API layer design.

Hands-on knowledge of AI agents and related technologies including LLMs, agent orchestration, evaluation, and production AI observability.

Proven leader capable of managing large, multi-disciplinary engineering organizations with a track record of mentoring senior technical leaders.

Experienced in delivering developer-facing products with high-UX quality and reliability at scale, such as low-code platforms or AI tooling studios.

Strong strategic thinker who can translate complex AI technology capabilities into aligned product roadmaps and measurable business outcomes within enterprise SaaS environments.
